- Our client is looking for a Scala Developer to join their global Data and Analytics organisation in New York on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity for either experienced Scala Developers, or those wishing to train in Scala.
Over the past 6 years the company has grown from a few people to over 300 worldwide and are now scaling up following another successful round of funding.
The Scala Developer will be working on new products, processing huge amounts of data to detect fraudulent activity for Tier 1 clients.
Requirements
- Some knowledge/ experience with Scala (this can be personal experience, e.g. they are happy to hire Java Developers and train them in Scala)
- Desire to upskill and work with the latest tech stack
- Problem solver
- Experience/ knowledge of any of: Docker, Kubernetes, Spring boot, Akka, Hadoop, Monix, Elastic search
